3D printing guides
Not sure which material or colour to pick? These quick pointers cover what most makers and gift-buyers want to know.
Choosing a material
- PLA: our all-rounder — great for toys, figurines and decor. Easy to print, crisp detail, huge colour range.
- PETG: tougher and more heat-resistant — the pick for planters, gadgets and anything handled a lot.
- Silk PLA: a glossy, satin-like sheen that makes decor and gifts pop. Best for looks rather than heavy use.
- Colour: most designs come in a range of shades — pick one on the product page, or ask us for a custom colour.
PLA vs PETG, quickly
Go PLA for indoor decor, toys and detailed models where looks matter most. Go PETG when a piece needs to handle warmth, moisture or a few knocks — think planters, hooks and everyday gadgets.
Caring for your prints
Keep prints out of direct sun and hot cars — PLA can soften in real heat. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, not harsh solvents. Planning a big or bulk order? Ask us for the best rate.
